Manteca Community Garden
What do we do here?
We're thrilled to partner with the City of Manteca to facilitate this community space! Located in the heart of downtown Manteca, here you can find community growing boxes, rented growing boxes, floral spaces, gardening classes and community planting and harvests. All of our community produce goes to supporting our local volunteers needs and providing to our local restaurants. Restaurants can purchase this produce to support the garden and feature locally community grown food on their menu.
Find this garden on the corner of Poplar Ave. and Center St. in Manteca. Across from the Manteca Library.
Volunteer with us!
We offer several volunteer days per week where you can come out and help in the garden. Each month these days change, so we hope you'll find a time that works for you and join us! July is full of planting this new space, we'll be in the garden on the following days:
Monday (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) 9:30a-11:30a
Friday (11th, 18th, 25th) 9:30a-11:30a
Saturday (12th, 19th, 26th) 9:30a-11:30a

Rent your own Box
You can rent your own box here at the Manteca Community Garden! These boxes are complete with soil, nutrients, basic maintenance, irrigation and scheduled watering. You only need to show up and plant what you want to plant and come take care of your space when you have time. We make sure to help with basic maintenance so if you're busy - your box won't show it! Please complete the form below to sign up and claim your box. Each 8x4 box is $50 per month, and reserved for 3 months at a time.
