organization dedicated to creating
community spaces filled with ornamental
greenery and vegetables. We believe these spaces enrich communities, boost mental health and provide nutritious food, year round.

Our Community driven non-profit organization is a 501(c)(3), all donations to Urban Green Project and our individual community gardens are 501(c)(3) tax deductible.

Manteca Community Garden

We’ve worked hard over the last two years to build the first community garden in Manteca, California. Our project opened with the help of a partnership with the City of Manteca in June 2025. We are harnessing big ideas of educational classes, community groups and sustainable research while we grow and maintain 24 beds in the heart of downtown Manteca. With the help of City of Manteca, grants, donors, volunteers and educational institutions, we look forward to continuing this community space in our hometown.

Urban Green Project is based in Lathrop, California, with deep roots in Manteca and the California Central Valley. Our recent project is located in Manteca, California, the Manteca Community Garden. This space is located at the corner of
Poplar ave and Center st in Manteca.
